Description

Laguna de Salobrejo (or Salobralejo) is one of the few lagoons in the area that conserves water throughout the entire year, so it is especially interesting when the rest of the seasonal lagoons are dry. It hosts a large number of birds (several thousand) and a diversity of species during the winter. Good place to observe Purple Swamphen, Water Rail or Spanish Eagle. Only place in the province where Great Snipe has been recorded. Among the other birds you can encounter are Western Marsh Harrier, Hen Harrier, Ruff, Common Teal, White-headed Duck, Red-crested Pochard, Black-necked Grebe, Common Pochard, Greylag Goose and Greater Flamingo.
