Description

In the lower wooded part of the Magaro Mountain area, Central European woodland species can be expected, including Eurasian Bullfinch, Lesser Spotted Woodpecker, tits and others. As soon as you leave the tree line behind, classic species of the high mountains can be observed, including Crag Martin, Shore Lark, Common Rock Thrush, Yellow-billed Chough and Water Pipit. There are regular sightings of the elusive and sought-after Rock Partridge. In addition, Eurasian Skylark, European Stonechat, Whinchat and Mistle Thrush can be found on the plains. It is worth keeping an eye on the sky to look for raptors such as European Honey-buzzard and Short-toed Snake Eagle.
