Small nature reserve that is home to more than 270 species of birds. The reserve offers lush gardens, bird feeders, 3 km of walking trails and also rooms.
Tinamú Birding Nature Reserve is located in a tropical rainforest of 11 hectare, between 1,200 and 1,300 meters above sea level. More than 270 bird species have been recorded in the area. The most numerous families that you can observe in the reserve are: flycatchers (Tyrannidae) with 41, tanagers (Thraupidae) with 25, hummingbirds (Trochilidae) with 21 and warblers (Parulidae) with 18 species.
Tinamú Birding Nature Reserve is located in Caldas at 18 km from Manizales. You can visit the reserve for one day or stay in the comfortable rooms. See the link to the website below for prices and packages.
