Description
We disovered this place (in 2018)en route to Bir-Anzarane, when seemingly in the middle of nowhere two Spotted Sandgrouse fell in behind a hill on the left side of the road. Invesigation learned that there was a water pump there with large rubber bladders of water. Water was leaking from the hoses, and there was sparse green vegetation. During our brief visit we observed Temminck's Lark, Red-throated Pipit and Red-rumped Wheatear as well as Brown-necked Raven. I have no idea how permanent this installation was, but it might be worth checking! I suspect that if you spent more time here all the usual desert species will stop by.

Access
The place is easy to miss. It is behind a small hill next to the road. There is a short trail from the road to the site, used by water trucks. Be carefull of landmines when walking or driving off road in Western Sahara!
