Woodland around a farm that is good for migrants in the right conditions.
Ethie Mains is a long standing migrant hotspot and one of the best sites for finding migrants on the whole of the Angus coast. The woodland around the farm is good for migrants in the right conditions. You can easily spend a whole day in the area when migrants are around. Migrants that have been spotted in the past include Pallas's Leaf Warbler, Woodchat Shrike, Collared Flycatcher, Red-breasted Flycatcher and Yellow-browed Warbler.
Ethie Mains is a private site at the end of a narrow, dead end road. Accessible only really by car or bike. Check with farm for parking.
