The reedbeds and adjoining scrub in Barnwell Country Park have Sedge Warbler, Reed Warbler, Reed Bunting and Cetti's Warbler as breeders. Common Kingfisher are frequent. Woodland has Eurasian Treecreeper, Eurasian Nuthatch and Marsh Tit. Winter wildfowl such as Gadwall, Common Teal, Northern Pintail, Common Pochard and Tufted Duck. Barnwell Country Park is located directly to the south of the village of Oundle. Follow the brown and white signs off the A605 Oundle bypass. Click on the P in the map to get directions. Parking at Barnwell Country Park costs £3.20 for up to 4 hours. By Bus: there is a regular bus service to and from Oundle town centre - the bus stop is approximately a quarter of a mile away from the park. Barnwell Country Park is open all day, every day with free admission.
