Scenic deciduous woodland covering 2 sq miles between Hailsham and Caneheath towards Arlington.
Lakes, streams and forests are encompassed by fields and the South Downs making this area a perfect birding spot. Commoners include most warblers, owls, raptors, ducks and geese
There's a car park on the south side towards Caneheath with a cafe 'Arlington Tea Garden' just down the road. Best to get to by car but can be walked to from Hailsham or Arlington/Arlington Reservoir if you're up for nice long walks.
