Fishpond and wetland with a rich bird life. Among the birds you can see here are Mute Swan, Great Crested Grebe, Eurasian Curlew, Ruddy Turnstone and many others.
Dunkovytsia-Horbok fishpond and it's surroundings are an interesting place for birdwatching and especially good for seeing waders. Among the waders that are regularly seen here are Grey Plover, Northern Lapwing, Common Ringed Plover, Little Ringed Plover, Eurasian Curlew, Black-tailed Godwit, Ruddy Turnstone, Ruff, Broad-billed Sandpiper, Dunlin, Little Stint, Common Snipe, Curlew Sandpiperand Wood Sandpiper. But als other birds like herons, gulls, terns, grebes and ducks are easy to see and nice birds like Eurasian Spoonbill, Black Stork and Purple Heron.
The wetland is located between the villages of Dunkovytsia and Horbok. A circular route around the wetland is about 9 km. You can park along the banks of the wetland. Click on a P in the map to get directions to that point.
