Very steep valley that hosts a variety of species typical for rocky habitats.
On the slopes of Pigeon Valley you can see species such as Western Rock Nuthatch , Rock Bunting and Black-headed Bunting. Further down the valley comes a stretch of woods and a dry riverbed where you can see and hear Common Nightingale, Eurasian Jay and more. Keep an eye on the sky for Alpine Swift and raptors such as Long-legged Buzzard and Eurasian Kestrel.
You can park at the main street of Uçhisar that goes along the valley. From the touristic viewpoints and cafés, there are several small paths down into the valley. Area is only accessible on foot. Good walking shoes are highly recommended.
