Description

The landscape in itself is very special, at least in Switzerland. A mosaic of dry meadows, bushes and limestone slabs. Many thermophilic bird species, otherwise rare in the area, inhabit the spot: Cirl Bunting, Eurasian Hoopoe, Eurasian Wryneck, Red-backed Shrike, European Stonechat, Linnet, Tree Pipit. The Wood Lark has disappeard a few years ago.

The spot is also very interesting for plants with many orchids and other rare thermophilic species.
