Description
In summer 2015, young Bearded Vulture were reintroduced into the wild for the first time on Melchsee-Frutt in the Hengliboden area in central Switzerland. Since then, every summer a Bearded Vulture has been released into the wild on Melchsee-Frutt. You can observe the birds around the Hengliboden information stand. Of course you can see many other alpine birds in the area like Yellow-billed Chough, White-winged Snowfinch, Alpine Accentor and Golden Eagle.
