Description
Videsjön is a nature reserve that includes a shallow and overgrown lake and the surrounding wetland, meadows and patches of forest. The area has a rich diversity and is of great importance for bird life. You reach the parking lot via narrow roads, from the parking lot you can walk about a kilometer to the bird watchtower. But along the path you already come across all kinds of birds. Among the birds you can see in the area are Common Crane, Eurasian Wigeon, Water Rail, Common Redshank, Osprey, Western Marsh Harrier and Whooper Swan.

From Lessebo direction Ljuder, in Ljuder there is a sign "Fågeltorn" , keep following it, until the small parking lot on the right. Then continue on foot and follow the path. After visiting this place, follow the road again, and enjoy the landscape. Birds are everywhere. Please note: after a lot of rainfall and with high water levels you cannot reach the tower.
