Svartskatan is a shallow bay where many birds can be seen, especially in spring. From a bird tower you have splendid views over the area. Among the birds you can see are Common Teal, Common Goldeneye, Eurasian Wigeon, Eurasian Coot, Greylag Goose, Whooper Swan, Tufted Duck, Eurasian Curlew, White-tailed Eagle and Short-eared Owl.
