Description
In Svartsjö agricultural landscapes meet the shores of Lake Mälaren. The area with its fields, meadows, pastures, forest as well as the shallow and overgrown bay of Svartsjöviken with its reed beds offers good environments for many bird species. Great chance to see White-tailed Eagle and Eurasian Goshawk all year round. Between April and September Western Marsh Harrier, Osprey and Eurasian Hobby are often seen. Among the other interesting birds you can encounter are Goosander, Whooper Swan, Meadow Pipit, Eurasian Skylark, Common Raven and Great Bittern.
