Description
Styran is located just outside Ösmo and consists of Västra Styran, which is a lake, Östra Styran, which is a wetland area, open fields, and deciduous forest. In the southern part of the wetland area there is a bird watching tower. These species can be found, among other birds: Northern Lapwing, Greylag Goose, Taiga Bean Goose, Pink-footed Goose, Greater White-fronted Goose, Osprey, White-tailed Eagle, Western Marsh Harrier, Common Chaffinch, Greenfinch, Hawfinch, Eurasian Green Woodpecker, Yellowhammer, Sedge Warbler and Reed Warbler.

Access
You can reach the bird observation tower by turning off at the riding school just after Ösmo (road 225) if you are coming from Stockholm. There is a parking space 400 meters from the tower. Click on the P in the map for directions.

Bewick's Swan and Red-breasted Goose sometimes join the large gatherings of mainly geese. Mostly seen in other places nearby, Blyth's Reed Warbler has been seen two years in a row so far.
