Western Marsh Harrier can be seen flying low over the reeds, but you can also see birds of prey such as Eurasian Hobby, Eurasian Kestrel, Rough-legged Buzzard and Osprey. The White-tailed Eagle has its nest on the island Stora Kyngan in the middle of the lake. You can also hear the honking of Great Bittern and the Thrush Nightingale sings through the night. Other nice birds you might see are Common Rosefinch, Common Goldeneye, Smew, Common Crane, Great Reed Warbler, Ruff and Spotted Redshank.
