Description
Fiskeboda is a site with many different habitats. In the oak forest you can find Eurasian Green Woodpecker and Black Woodpecker. From November to March on the water you can find ducks such as Smew, Common Goldeneye, Tufted Duck and in summer Osprey. In the cultural landscape and beach meadows you can observe pipits, larks and Yellowhammer. Birds of prey you can spot in the area are Eurasian Goshawk, European Honey-buzzard, Western Marsh Harrier and White-tailed Eagle (probably nests in the area). Terns, gulls and cormorants nest NW of Fiskeboda Camping.

Access
Fiskeboda is located on a peninsula in Lake Hjälmaren. Click on a P in the map for directions. The best thing to explore the area is to walk through the sheep pasture in Fiskeboda village. Cycling is fine, but driving is not allowed.
