Description

Salinas del Rasall are salt flats that are not in production within the protected area of the Calblanque Regional Park. The wetland offers the possibility of seeing different bird species associated with the aquatic environment that vary according to the time of year. Among the birds you can encounter in the area are Black-winged Stilt, Kentish Plover, Little Ringed Plover, Black Wheatear, Red-rumped Swallow, Avocet, Common Shelduck, Little Egret, Audouin's Gull, Slender-billed Gull, Stone-curlew, European Bee-eater, Eurasian Hoopoe, Iberian Grey Shrike and Woodchat Shrike.

Access

The area is easily accessed from the La Manga highway (MU-312), where you take exit 10 and follow the signs to the entrance of Calblanque, which lead to a dirt track where the signs lead you to the salinas del Rasall.
