Description
Plans de Sió is a large steppe-type area, dominated by single-crop cereal farming, located in the Segarra region. It is a dry landscape with some shrubs or scrub. Steppe bird species, such as Montagu's Harrier, Little Bustard and Stone-curlew breed in the area, but can be hard to find. The more common birds include Red-legged Partridge, Griffon Vulture, Short-toed Snake Eagle, Booted Eagle, Red Kite, Eurasian Hoopoe, Iberian Grey Shrike, Calandra Lark, Eurasian Kestrel and Corn Bunting. Sometimes Spanish Imperial Eagle is observed.

Plans de Sió - Font de Queralt is located between Lleida and Manresa. You can enter the area through two entrances. Click on the P in the map fo directions.
