Description
The very special rock formations of the Riglos house nesting Egyptian Vulture and Griffon Vulture. You can walk a scenic trail all around the Riglos that is about 5 km long (see the map). Birds you can also see in the area are Black Wheatear, Blue Rock Thrush, Alpine Swift, Bearded Vulture, Short-toed Snake Eagle and Red Kite.

Mallos de Riglos is located in the foothills of the Pre-Pyrenees about 45 km northwest of the city of Huesca. From Huesca, it's about a 45-minute drive west via the A-132 road. The rock formations rise above the village of Riglos. There is a car park near the observatory. Click on the P in the map to get directions.
