Description
This small wetland located a little to the northeast of the village of Madrigalejo is nice to check out. There was a nice observation tower here, unfortunately, the lookout tower has burned down. Among the birds you can see in this place are White Stork, Great Egret, Purple Heron (April and May), Reed Warbler, European Stonechat, Common Waxbill, European Bee-eater, Zitting Cisticola, Western Marsh Harrier, Black-winged Kite, Red Kite, Iberian Grey Shrike, Iberian Magpie and Great Spotted Cuckoo (January to April). In the winter months the Moustached Warbler is a regular visitor.
