Description
Cerro de Bartolo (also known as Cerro de San Bartolomé) has great panoramic views and birds flying by. Sometimes the flight of Griffon Vulture and Booted Eagle can be enjoyed very closely. They have their nests in the cliffs of this mountain range. Among the other birds you can spot are Peregrine Falcon, Short-toed Snake Eagle, Sparrowhawk, Black Kite, Eurasian Kestrel, Common Raven, Woodchat Shrike, Red-legged Partridge, Great Spotted Woodpecker and Blue Rock Thrush.

There are many paths and trails to explore the area. You can make a long circular walk from the beach, go up and back (about 15 km), but you can also park near the cliffs and make a short walk of 30 minutes.
