Cape on the Cantabrian Sea located next to the town of Burela. This is the best point in the province of Lugo for seawatching.
Cabo Burela, despite being slightly elevated above sea level, is the best seabird observation point in the province of Lugo. It is located just 500 meters from the town of Burela, so it is easily accessible. From here, most of the seabirds of these latitudes can be observed without difficulty, especially during the autumn migration. The most common are Northern Gannet, Common Scoter, Great Skua, Pomarine Skua, Arctic Skua, Kittiwake, Little Gull, Sooty Shearwater, Manx Shearwater, Balearic Shearwater, Great Shearwater, Cory's Shearwater, Great Northern Diver, Red Phalarope, Common Guillemot, Razorbill, European Shag, Common Tern and Sandwich Tern. In addition, other rarer ones can also be observed such as European Storm Petrel, Wilson's Storm Petrel, Leach's Storm Petrel, Red-throated Diver, Long-tailed Skua, Atlantic Puffin, Sabine's Gull, Little Tern, Arctic Tern, Black Tern and Red-breasted Merganser.
In addition to seabirds, many gulls (7 species), waders (15 species) and ducks (6 species) can also be seen during migration, and some passerines can be seen on the cape itself. Sometimes rarities show up such as Brown Booby, Common Eider, Velvet Scoter, Roseate Tern, Great Spotted Cuckoo or Glaucous Gull.

Espagnol: Cabo Burela es un cabo del Mar Cantábrico situado junto a la villa de Burela. Este cabo, pese a estar poco elevado sobre el nivel del mar, constituye el mejor punto de observación de aves marinas de la provincia de Lugo. Se encuentra a escasos 500 metros de la villa de Burela, por lo que se accede a él muy fácilmente.
Desde aquí se pueden observar sin dificultad, especialmente durante el paso postnupcial, la mayoría de las aves marinas de estas latitudes. Las más comunes son Northern Gannet, Common Scoter, Great Skua, Pomarine Skua, Arctic Skua, Kittiwake, Little Gull, Sooty Shearwater, Manx Shearwater, Balearic Shearwater, Great Shearwater , Cory's Shearwater, Great Northern Diver, Red Phalarope, Common Guillemot, Razorbill, European Shag, Common Tern, Sandwich Tern. Además de aves marinas, en paso también se observan muchas gaviotas no pelágicas (7 especies), limícolas (15 especies) y anátidas (6 especies) y en el propio cabo pueden verse algunos passeriformes. Cuenta con citas de aves raras como Brown Booby, Common Eider, Velvet Scoter, Roseate Tern o Great Spotted Cuckoo, Glaucous Gull.
