Description
Barranco de Ajuy gives a good opportunity for a walk in combination with a family trip. The beach gives a nice bathing opportunity, there is a nice mirador and the ornithologist can take a walk and search for Stone-curlew or Barbary Partridge. Additionally, the scrubs hold some passerines like African Blue Tit and some migrants.

You can park in the village of Ajuy. Click on the P in the map to get directions. From the parking you can walk the barranco upwards (except of the rare events of strong rain) until the Madre del Agua.
