Balsa de Cadimo is a reservoir located 12 km north to the city of Jaén. The irrigation pond attracts many birds. A few examples of birds you can encounter: White-headed Duck, Ferruginous Duck, Greater Flamingo, White Stork, Black-necked Grebe, Squacco Heron, Black-bellied Sandgrouse, Little Bustard, European Bee-eater and Great Spotted Cuckoo.
