Description

Mogoșoaia Palace (Palatul Mogoșoaia) is surrounded by beautiful gardens and located at a big lake. Behind the palace, after the wooden bridge, you can see many birds that prefer marshy areas, but also forest birds. Best time for a visit is spring with many birds nesting. Among the birds you can encounter are Ruddy Shelduck, Great Spotted Woodpecker, Little Egret, Great Egret, Black-crowned Night Heron, Squacco Heron, Whiskered Tern, Eurasian Coot and Pygmy Cormorant.

Mogoșoaia Palace is situated about 10 kilometres northwest from Bucharest. Easy access by car. Adress: Strada Valea Parcului 1, Mogoșoaia 077135. Click on the P in the map for directions. From the parking you can explore the area on foot or bike.
