The closed Brzegi gravel pit is mainly a fishing area, but also attracts a lot of birds. Parking is available on site, free admission. Very wet after rains.

Description

Żwirownia Brzegi has a large colony of Black-headed Gull on the island, and Little Tern and Common Tern also nest there. The terrain is varied: shrubs, grasses, deciduous trees, ponds. Among the other birds you can encounter are Egyptian Goose, Eurasian Kestrel, Goosander, Great Reed Warbler, Black-necked Grebe and Eurasian Bullfinch.

You can get there by car, convenient parking on site or by bike. Click on the P in the map to get directions. The nearest bus stop is about 1 km away. After rain, the local roads get very muddy. The circular route around the lake is about 2 km long.
