Karpinka Bay is located near the marina on the shore of the Kamieniecki Reservoir in the tourist town of Kamień Pomorski. Many species of birds can be observed from the waterfront and pier, often from a close distance. These are mainly gulls: European Herring Gull, Great Black-backed Gull, Caspian Gull, Common Gull, Black-headed Gull. In addition to the gulls, you can often see Mallard, Mute Swan, Eurasian Coot, Great Crested Grebe, Smew, Goosander, Tufted Duck, Common Goldeneye, Great Egret, and sometimes rarer species appear, for example: Mediterranean Gull or Black-throated Diver. It is quite common to see a hunting White-tailed Eagle.

The observation site is on the northern waterfront in Kamień Pomorski. There are plenty of parking spaces in the city. Press a P on the map for directions. You can get everywhere on foot or by bike or by watercraft. You can get across the bay to the other side by a footbridge.
