Description
The Beka reserve includes marshy salt meadows, meadows that are changing wet and sedge thickets, as well as rushes and dune formations. During spring and autumn migration, flocks of ducks (Mallard , Eurasian Wigeon , Northern Pintail , Common Teal , Garganey , Common Shelduck ), waders ( Northern Lapwing , Ruff , Common Redshank , Dunlin , Curlew Sandpiper ) and Common Crane can be observed. In summer there are nesting Northern Lapwing, Common Redshank, Citrine Wagtail , Western Yellow Wagtail , Common Shelduck and Common Crane here.

Access
Rezerwat Beka is located east of the village Mrzezino. You can park on the side of the road close to the observation tower. Click on the P in the map to get directions. Best way to explore the area is by bicycle, but you can go on foot as well. Note: The circular walking route (3,5 km) is only accessible outside the breeding season.
