This wetland is a haven for thousands of birds, from waterfowl to waders. More than 200 different bird species have been recorded here.
Ptasi Raj (Birds' Paradise) is a nature reserve in Gdańsk located at the former estuary of the Vistula. It occupies forest areas, former pastures and beaches and is therefore an attractive area for water birds, waders and reed birds. During migration and wintering, various species of ducks, swans and geese can be observed here, as well as gulls, terns and birds of prey.
An educational trail with information boards and two large observation towers for observation of waterbirds leads through the reserve. In the tower located on the lake there is also a platform where you can have a night out. There is a small car park. The reserve can be visited all year round.
