A characteristic feature of the Park Krajobrazowy Stawki is the presence of numerous streams, ponds and marshes. In these conditions, alder forests, low hornbeam forests and riparian forests developed. The most valuable forest areas are under protection as the ''Wielki Las nature reserve''. In addition to forests, peat bogs and mid-forest also meadows have developed in the park. Among the birds you can see are 6 species of woodpecker (Great Spotted Woodpecker, Lesser Spotted Woodpecker, Syrian Woodpecker, Middle Spotted Woodpecker, Eurasian Green Woodpecker and Black Woodpecker) and also birds like Golden Oriole, Tree Pipit, Coal Tit, Crested Tit, Marsh Tit, Willow Tit and Hawfinch.
