Description
The vicinity of the reservoir is a breeding ground for many bird species. The dam crown has been made available for pedestrians and cyclists, creating a "walking part" connecting Goczałkowice-Zdrój with Zabrzeg, thanks to which the area of the Goczałkowice reservoir has become a recreational place. Among the birds you can see are Caspian Gull, Black-headed Gull, Goosander, Great Reed Warbler, Yellowhammer, White-tailed Eagle, Black-crowned Night Heron, Great Egret, Northern Lapwing, Common Crane, Great Cormorant and Common Tern.
