Description
Dzwonowo ponds are man made fish ponds that attract a lot of birds. Some ponds are drained and great spots for waders. The amount of birds is depending much on the water levels in each pond. Some ponds hold large numbers of duck. The ponds also hold a breeding population of Red-necked Grebe. Among the other birds you can see here are Whooper Swan, Garganey, Common Pochard, Common Crane, White-tailed Eagle, Common Snipe, Jack Snipe, Penduline Tit, Bearded Tit, Common Kingfisher, Meadow Pipit, Yellowhammer, Reed Bunting, Little Ringed Plover and with a little luck Black Stork.
