Description

Observation tower with 360-degree views of the surrounding Biebrza area. You can see for miles. A telescope is a must. In late summer, it's a gathering place for Common Crane (from the end of July). Other birds you can observe include Savi's Warbler, White-tailed Eagle, White-winged Tern, Lesser Spotted Eagle, Citrine Wagtail, Montagu's Harrier, Corn Crake, Common Rosefinch, Savi's Warbler, Golden Oriole, Black Stork, White Stork, Ruff, European Honey-buzzard, Western Marsh Harrier, Common Quail, Eurasian Tree Sparrow, Greater Spotted Eagle, Eurasian Hoopoe, Eurasian Hobby, Great Reed Warbler, Penduline Tit, Whinchat, Red-backed Shrike, Hooded Crow, Common Kingfisher, Thrush Nightingale. Moose are also often seen.

Access

From the village of Dolistowo Stare, it's about a kilometer walk to the lookout tower. The walk crosses a wooden bridge over the Biebrza River. Press P on the map for directions.
