Description
The Citadel Park covers about 100 hectares of a varied, in places forested area. In the past, there was a German fortress here called the "Citadel". In the period before World War II, a cemetery was located on the slopes of the fort.
Currently, there are remains of forts (worth visiting), museums, playgrounds, an outdoor sculpture gallery, a war and civil cemetery. While you are looking for birds - your loved ones will be able to spend time in a completely different way :).
It is difficult to draw a clear route for exploring the area - look for places less frequented by visitors - remember that the Citadel is a popular place for Poznań residents to spend time. You can move freely around the area along designated (or trodden) paths. Within the Citadel area park-forest and urban birds predominate.

Trudno narysować jednoznaczną trasę eksploracji terenu - poszukuj miejsc mniej uczęszczanych przez odwiedzających - należy pamiętać, że Cytadela jest popularnym miejsce spędzania czasu przez poznaniaków.Po terenie można poruszać się swobodnie po wyznaczonych (lub wydeptanych) ścieżkach. Na terenie Cytadeli przeważają ptaki parkowo - leśnie i miejskie.

Access
The Citadel is located in the central part of the city of Poznań. It is easy to get here by bus and tram. You can also get there on foot or by bike (you can move around on a bike in the area). Possible parking places are marked on the map - some of them are paid.
