Description

Litlvatnet Naturreservat has breeding Gadwall and Eurasian Coot. During migration ducks, swans, geese and waders can be observed. Several first sightings for Norway. Corn Crake, Spotted Crake, Common Quail possible in breeding season plus many passerines. Among them Sedge Warbler, Redwing, Spotted Flycatcher, Reed Bunting and White Wagtail.

Access

Litlvatnet Naturreservat can be viewed from different sides. There is small parking place signposted from nearby public road. Click on the P in the map for directions. A path through a small wood leads to a two-storey, sheltered observation tower facing north. Other viewpoints from local roads. Some hours readily needed to explore this area.
