Rock cliffs on the Atlantic Ocean that are excellent for seawatching. On the cliffs you can often see Peregrine Falcon resting.
Just north of the village of Taghazout these cliffs a a great viewpoint to watch sea birds. Depending on the weather conditions and time of the year you can see many birds flying by. With western winds sometimes even very close. Among the birds you can spot are Northern Gannet, Cory's Shearwater, Balearic Shearwater, Razorbill, Arctic Skua, Great Skua, Sandwich Tern, Whimbrel, Lesser Crested Tern, Yellow-legged Gull and Audouin's Gull. On the cliffs a pair of Peregrine Falcon often can be seen resting. Also Northern Bald Ibis can fly by.
If you drive north along the coast from Taghazout, you will pass the cliffs after 3 km. You can park on the side of the smaller road going to the right. Click on the P in the map for directions or coordinates.
