Description
Stajkovsko Ezero is a lake with some surrounding marshland and reed fields amidst agricultural fields. During migration many birds make a stop here. And year round this a good place to find ducks, herons, grebes and cormorants. Birds you can observe include Garganey, Ferruginous Duck, Red-backed Shrike, Western Marsh Harrier, European Bee-eater, Black-winged Stilt, Common Snipe, Wood Sandpiper, Ruff, Little Ringed Plover, Little Crake, Pygmy Cormorant, Little Bittern and Great Reed Warbler.

Access
Stajkovsko Ezero is located about 10 km northeast of Skopje. An unpaved road runs along the eastern bank of the lake. From the nearby village you can walk, cycle or drive to the lake.
