Description
The best time for birdwatching on lago della Burida is during bird migration, especially the autumn migration. The lake attracts water birds like ducks, rails and and grebes. Always present species are Tufted Duck, Great Crested Grebe, Mallard, Mute Swan, Eurasian Coot and Little Grebe. Except for the Tufted Duck, the others are nesting. During migratory periods, even rarer species for the province appear, such as Ferruginous Duck, Black-throated Diver, Red-necked Grebe, Black-necked Grebe, Velvet Scoter, Common Goldeneye and Smew.

Italiano: Il lago della Burida è posto in un ambiente urbano, ma circondato da vegetazione ripariale, canneto e alberi; è stato realizzato nell'1894 per produrre energia. Il periodo migliore per fare birdwatching in questo sito è durante la migrazione, sopratutto quella autunnale; le specie più rappresente sono quelle acquatiche, cioè anatidi, rallidi e svassi. Specie sempre presenti sono la Tufted Duck , lo Great Crested Grebe, il Mallard , il Mute Swan, la Eurasian Coot e il Little Grebe; tranne la moretta, gli altri sono nidificanti. Nei periodi migratori fanno la loro comparsa anche specie più rare per la provincia, come la Ferruginous Duck, la Black-throated Diver, lo Red-necked Grebe, lo Black-necked Grebe, l' Velvet Scoter, il Common Goldeneye e la Smew.
