Description
Eilat Central Park is a small city park in the middle of Eilat. Especially during spring migration virtually any migratory bird from Europe to Central Asia could turn up here. It is a very open park with trees on the edges. It's these edges where you find most birds in the trees and shrubs. Among the birds that are observed regularly in the park are Eurasian Hoopoe, Asian Green Bee-eater, Eurasian Wryneck, Rose-ringed Parakeet, Masked Shrike, Eastern Olivaceous Warbler, White-spectacled Bulbul, Eastern Bonelli's Warbler, Blackcap, Lesser Whitethroat, Eastern Orphean Warbler, Rüppell's Warbler. Greater Whitethroat, Rufous-tailed Scrub Robin, Common Redstart, Ortolan Bunting, Red-throated Pipit, Palestine Sunbird and Arabian Babbler.
