Description

Just west of Vatera, on the headland, a small chapel is located, called Palia Vigla. The area is fairly wooded, and is a great spot to find species, like Sombre Tit, Middle Spotted Woodpecker and especially Sardinian Warbler.

During autumn migration, the area is also great to watch migrating raptors, like Short-toed Snake Eagle, harriers, falcons, buzzards and sometimes eagles.
