Description

Just southeast of Mesa wetlands, a nice track starts at the bridge on the south end of the road (see map). This track leads you through the pine forests of Mirsinia, which provides a great breeding habitat for species, like Eurasian Nightjar, Wood Lark and Middle Spotted Woodpecker. Throughout the area, you have a chance of finding Krüper's Nuthatch too.

From the start of the track, you still have a good view over the eastern parts of Mesa wetlands, and you can scan the area for storks, herons and egrets.
