Description
Rhodes is a very dry island, smaller birds breed early before vegetation dies back. At Lindos you can find the usual mediterranean versions of swifts, swallows, warblers and Black-eared Wheatear. Birds of prey include Eurasian Kestrel, Lesser Kestrel (especially at the acropolis), Eurasian Scops Owl and Long-legged Buzzard. Other birds you can encounter are Squacco Heron, Stone-curlew, Woodchat Shrike, Red-rumped Swallow and Little Stint.

Lindos is located on the south-east coast on Rhodes, 40 km south of Rhodes town. You can take a bus or coach from Rhodes town to Lindos.
