A ca. 85 hectares lake in an open wide landscape. One of two lakes around the next town and the only bigger areas of water in the whole area.
The best time for birding is in winter. Then you can spot many species of waterfowl like Greylag Goose, Greater White-fronted Goose, , Ruddy Shelduck, Northern Shoveler, Gadwall, Eurasian Wigeon, Common Teal, Red-crested Pochard, Common Pochard or Tufted Duck. But also many other aquatic birds like Slavonian Grebe, Red-necked Grebe, Black-necked Grebe or different species of Gulls.
You can park at a big parking place at the south west of the lake. The best way to explore the area is walking.
