Description
The forested grounds of Tiergarten Park cover 210 hectares. As one of the larger parks in the Berlin, the park poses a good retreat for ground and shrubland breeders, but also Common Buzzard and Eurasian Goshawk use the wooded parts to build their nests. Around 44 breeding species were found in a survey from 2010, including 3 Red List species and another 5 in declining numbers. One of the best finds here is the Eurasian Goshawk.
