Three small lakes on the outskirts of the town Stein am Kocher.
The lakes of Steiner Seen are open to the public. On the largest of the three lakes there is a small island where you can observe ducks such as Mallard and Tufted Duck. The area is partially surrounded by a small reed belt where songbirds such as Sedge Warbler can be observed.
Common Kingfisher, Goosander and Eurasian Moorhen can also be seen here regularly.
The Steiner Seen are located directly southeast of Stein am Kocher. There is a parking lot in front of the ponds. Press P on the map for directions to the parking. The lakes can then be walked around (about 1,2 km).
