Description
In winter, Great Egret and Grey Heron can often be observed on the meadows. The best time for this is early in the morning. The nearby nesting White Stork often forages at the river's edge. Both Greylag Goose and Canada Goose or Mallard are frequent visitors to the biotope all year round.
Forest dwellers are also often found near the mill. Both White Wagtail and Grey Wagtail can be observed in the area. Songbirds such as Linnet or other Fringillidae are also regularly seen.
