Description
Lebrader Teiche is a nature reserve and part of the Holstein Switzerland Nature Park and covers an area of about 144 hectares. In spring and summer mainly grebes and reed-breeding birds, in summer moulting ducks and in autumn, when the ponds are drained, also waders. Birds you can observe in the area include Thrush Nightingale, Red-necked Grebe, Water Rail, Common Tern, Savi's Warbler and Sedge Warbler.

Access
The Lebrader Teiche are located about 7 kilometres north of the town of Plön, near the village of Lebrade. Best observation point from a small viewing platform on the south bank of the western pond on the northern edge of the village of Lebrade. The circular route indicated on the map is about 6 km.
