Description

Insel Hombroich in Holzheim near Neuss is a museum in the open air with the motto "art parallel to nature". The museum consists of several parts. first and foremost a park-like landscape (Sculpture Park) with scattered exhibition buildings where modern and contemporary art is exhibited. The forests and ponds hold many birds. Among the birds you can see are Ruddy Shelduck, Common Teal, Common Kingfisher, Song Thrush, Grey Wagtail, Blackcap, Garden Warbler, European Goldfinch, Great Spotted Woodpecker and Eurasian Green Woodpecker.
