The open landscape is good for a variety of species like Red-backed Shrike, Corn Bunting, European Stonechat, Eurasian Skylark and sometimes Wood Lark. All species can sometimes be seen posting on the airport fence. The woodland hold Golden Oriole and sometimes Eurasian Wryneck.
